Following in the footsteps of the short-lived and highly coveted Salsa CroMoto SUL stem, this one fills a much needed void in the market. Handlebar clamp diameter has been migrating from 25.4/26.0 to 31.8 for a while and the selection of new handlebars (especially drop bars) with older standards is quickly thinning out. Sure you can put a chunky threadless stem on a 1 1/8″ quill adapter and be done OR you can buy one of these gorgeous stems and check all the boxes.

AFAIK it’s the only 2-bolt faceplate 1″quill stem in production!
